On 20.07.2007 we have opened a brand-new guest house which is offering accomodation with breakfast in 10 rooms with alltogether 34 beds.
The name Antiqua Villa is originated in old lathin name for our town. Spišská Stará Ves is located in a wonderfull setup of countryside called Zamagurie, near national park Pieniny. Within a walking distance from the town is river Dunajec which is offering numerous options for spending free time. The most favourite is using it as a water way with rafts, kayaks or traditional wooden rafts. In the upper part of the river is an artificial lake underneath 2 beautifull old castles. The lower part flows thru the National Park of Pieniny.
We entered the market as a little wooden rafting company on the river Dunajec. We started to make trips on the upper part of the river - in those times quite unknown. After couple of succesfull seasons the trip was extended to it's today's full length of 15 kilometers. This is now the longest.
